1. Go Ahead ... Make Our Opening Day
Duh. It's the day we've all been waiting for! The thrilling, fast-paced basketball that only the Liberty can deliver, will return to Madison Square Garden on Sunday, June 7. As the season tips off for just the fifth time in franchise history on The Garden floor, New York will be facing off against its Conference foe from the north, the Connecticut Sun . The game will begin at 4:00 p.m., however there's plenty of excitement happening before hand for our young fans to take in. That would include our pre-game interactive Liberty ScoutFest, click here for more details. Plus, you won't want to miss out on a special performance from pop songtress Kat Deluna! Looking for more ammo to get you locked in? The first 5,000 fans in attendance will score the first giveaway of the summer; an eco-friendly re-usable Liberty bag, sponsored by Walgreens.

2. You'll Be Seeing Red
The Liberty will partner with the American Heart Association to celebrate Go Red For Women Night on Friday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. As New York goes head to head against 2008 WNBA Finalist, the San Antonio Silver Stars, join us in the fight against heart disease by sporting some red to help raise awareness. Check out this special offer to find out how you can give back, because $5 from every ticket purchased will go back to the American Heart Association.

3. Early & Often
Beginning on Wednesday, June 10, the WNBA will open up the voting for the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game. Show your support by casting your vote to send your favorite member of the Liberty to play in the July 25th game at Mohegan Sun. Stay logged into NYLiberty.com and keep an ear out for announcements in-arena for how to vote!

4. Dance, Dance, Dance!
For as much as we're looking forward to seeing the team back out on the court, we're eagerly looking forward to seeing the new routines our three co-ed dance and cheer teams have compiled for the summer. The Liberty Torch Patrol, the Lil Torches and Timeless Torches have entertained the masses year in and year out, always rolling out some fun and amazing moves to keep us entertained in time-outs. Get ready, New York for three of the hottest acts in town!
