Five Things To Look For In July
1. Conference Finals Re-Match
The month will start out
with a three-game home stand, tipping off with re-match of last season's Conference
Finals on Thursday, July 2 at 7:30 p.m. It will be the lone
trip to New York for the defending WNBA Champion Detroit Shock. The last time
these two teams met on The Garden floor, it resulted in a 56-60
Game One victory for the Libs. Janel McCarville poured
in a team-high 17 points and Shameka Christon pulled down a
game-high 11 boards. Score tickets for this rivalry by clicking

2. Giving Back
The Los Angeles Sparks will make their annual
journey to the Big Apple for a showdown at The Garden on Thursday,
July 9. The game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. Before the game, the Liberty
will be hosting two initiatives that will benefit the local community. Be
sure to bring with you new, unwrapped toys for our annual Toy Drive
with the Garden of Dreams Foundation. Collection bins will be set up in
the mall area leading up to the box office entrance. The first
500 fans to donate toys will receive a commemorative Liberty/Garden of
Dreams pen. Also in the mall area, the Liberty and Nike are
encouraging fans to donate worn-out athletic shoes for the Nike Re-use
A Shoe program. Nike will recycle the old athletic shoes into Nike Grind, a raw
material used in sports and playground surfaces and new Nike products. Fans
should bring their old sneakers of any brand. Reserve your
tickets
now for this
game and don't forget your toys & sneakers.
3. Looking For Inspiration
Twelve pioneers of local
non-profit organizations that empower women and young girls will be
honored before and during the July 23rd match-up against the Sacramento Monarchs
for Inspiring Women
Night. Join our pre-game reception and networking
event in the Club Bar & Grill to meet these inspirational leaders at
6:00 p.m. before taking in the 7:30 p.m. game in arena. WNBA president Donna
Orender, Liberty president and general manager Carol Blazejowski will be the
evening's guest speakers. Click here to

Kraayeveld and Janel McCarville are all seeking their
first All-Star appearance.
