The Liberty will celebrate its loyal fan base as the 2008 regular season comes to a close on the afternoon of Sunday, September 14 with its annual “Fan Appreciation Day” when Eastern Conference rival, the Detroit Shock, come into town to finish off the regular season series.

Watch stars Shameka Christon, Janel McCarville and the Liberty go up against 2008 Olympic gold medalist Katie Smith, Deanna Nolan and the Shock. The first 5,000 fans in attendance on Sunday afternoon will receive a free Liberty t-shirt.
