Live Chat With All-Star Shameka Christon
Christon's sixth WNBA season in the Big Apple included some memorable moments and achievements by the 27 year-old, including her first All-Star appearance, a career-high 16.1 points per game, a career-high 32-point performance while guiding the club to victory and becoming just the fourth player in franchise history to surpass the 2,000-point mark.
Following a successful stint with the U.S. Women's National Team in October, the Hot Springs, AK native headed to Poland. Competing for Lotos Gydnia through December, she averaged 26.3 minutes, 16.4 points and 3.0 rebounds per outing in Polish League play.
Now back to her home away from home (Madison Square Garden), as of late the tri-captain can be found chatting with season ticket-holders to thank them for their support, out in the local community to promote health and fitness amongst girls and women, and gearing up for her first trip to NBA All-Star Weekend.
