Liberty Welcomes New Teammate in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

The New York Liberty is excited to announce a new partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for this year’s “Breast Health Awareness Night” to take place at the Liberty game on Tuesday, July 31 at 7:30pm vs. the Los Angeles Sparks.

The BCRF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and genetic research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health. The BCRF has raised over $160 million to support breast cancer research since its inception nearly 20 years ago. CLICK HERE to view the BCRF website.

Throughout the game there will be fundraising activities taking place with all the proceeds benefiting the BCRF. Fans can visit the tables located at Gate 65 on the 6th floor concourse level to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win limited edition autographed Liberty and Sparks Breast Health Awareness t-shirts, Liberty fan experiences, and other great prizes. A special ball ceremony will also occur before tip-off that will include New York Liberty season subscribers as well as supporters of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation that are all breast cancer survivors.

In support of BCRF, as a part of “Breast Cancer Awareness Night,” the Liberty will also be donating money to BCRF based on ticket sales. CLICK HERE to view the special ticket offer. You can also purchase tickets by clicking here, visiting The Garden Box Office or calling 877-WNBA-TIX.
