New York Liberty Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale Monday, April 11 At 10:00 A.M.


New York, NY – April 7, 2011 – Single-game tickets for the New York Liberty’s 2011 regular season home games at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey will go on sale Monday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Prudential Center Box Office, Madison Square Garden Box Office, on-line at NYLiberty.com, through the WNBA Ticketmaster charge-by-phone number 877-WNBA-TIX, all Ticketmaster outlets and at Ticketmaster.com.

Ticket prices are $10, $15, $35, $60, and $85 for all 17 regular season home games. 2011 will mark the Liberty’s first season under General Manager and Head Coach John Whisenant. Led by stars Cappie Pondexter, Leilani Mitchell, and Janel McCarville, the Liberty will host the Indiana Fever in their 2011 regular season home-opener at Prudential Center on Saturday, June 11. Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury will visit Prudential Center on Saturday, July 30 and the Liberty will face off against the defending WNBA Champion Seattle Storm and New York-native Sue Bird on August 9.

New York Liberty home games will be played at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey for the 2011, 2012, and 2013 seasons while Madison Square Garden undergoes a comprehensive, top-to-bottom Transformation. The Garden will close for the next three summers for work on the Transformation to be completed. Prudential Center is a convenient 15 minutes away from The Garden by train.
