Time to Give Thanks

New York, NY - November 23, 2005 - According to Merriam-Webster's definition, thanksgiving is the act of giving thanks. And therefore, Thanksgiving Day is a day appointed for giving thanks for divine goodness. So as the Liberty joins New Yorkers and the rest of America in celebrating with turkey and pumpkin pie, your favorite coaches and players are also taking time to share what they are most thankful for this holiday season:

Cathrine Kraayeveld: I am thankful for a great family. I have two awesome parents who have been married for 31 years and have helped shape me into the person I am today. I have two older brothers who are great, too. We have always had so much fun when we get together as a family. I'm just thankful for a healthy, loving family.

Assistant Coach Marianne Stanley: I am thankful that after almost 30 years in coaching I don't have more gray hair!
