Liberty on MSG Networks

MSG Networks, which includes MSG and MSG+, announced today that it will telecast a total of 13 New York Liberty home games this summer starting Saturday, May 19 at 4:00 p.m. on MSG+ when the Liberty host the Connecticut Sun in their season opener.

MSG Networks’ broadcast team will feature veteran play-by-play announcer Mike Crispino along with two analysts, Liberty legend Kym Hampton, who returns courtside for her second season, and former Stanford University star Rosalyn Gold-Onwude, who will be making her MSG debut.

The Liberty’s opening game against the Connecticut Sun will take place at Madison Square Garden and, to jumpstart the season, will include an Opening Day Fan Fest, which is open to the public, outside of The World’s Most Famous Arena at 31st St. and 7th Ave. from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Following the season opener, the Liberty will call the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ home for the second of three seasons while Madison Square Garden continues its historic, top-to-bottom Transformation. The team will also continue to work with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that works with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company to help make dreams come true for children facing obstacles in the tri-state area.
