Hello Liberty Fans,

It's hard to believe that the season has come and gone, isn't it? I first want to thank everyone that supported me during the year. I really appreciate that. You don't know how much that meant to me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart! New York is awesome! I finally got used to the speed and it's a lot of fun and there's always so much to do. I plan on doing more site seeing when I come back next season.

This season was very interesting to me. I didn't really know what to expect coming into the league, but I came out realizing that you have to define yourself and your own style of play. Like setting yourself apart from everyone else. At the same time you have be mentally strong and maintain a healthy body by getting enough sleep, eating healthy and continuously working out. It's tough I have to say. The roughest part of the season was definitely all the traveling we had to do and the back-to-backs. It was crazy! I was not used to the turnaround of play, but now I will know for next season. All in all, this season really has been a great learning experience for me.

A couple weeks after the season ended, Coach Stanley and I took a trip to Kenya for about a week for an HIV/AIDS awareness project. It was amazing being over there. The country is beautiful. We were doing basketball clinics for the kids and providing a positive message for them. It was a great experience and a once in a lifetime trip that I will never forget.

So now here I am beginning my first off-season. I plan to use the down time to get my knee stronger and just work out hard so I can come back to help this team any way I can. I decided not to go overseas because I felt that it would be more beneficial to just rehab instead. Maybe I'll go overseas after next season.

New York really feels like home to me and hopefully I have a future with the Liberty. Thank you all that took the time to read my letters during the season. It means a lot to know that people want to know about me and my experiences with the team. I'm glad that you guys stuck around and hopefully enjoyed what you read.

Until next season - Much Love and God Bless.

Loree
