November 7, 2006 - New York, NY - At forward, from Russia, weighing seven pounds and standing 19.75 inches...Ok, so maybe we'll give it a few years before we insert the newest members of the Liberty family into the starting lineup. But we certainly will introduce them to you now. It is with great pride that we announce that former Liberty player Elena Baranova has just given birth to twins.

At approximately 8:30 a.m. (Moscow time) on Wednesday, November 1, Elena welcomed a baby girl and boy to the world. Although names are still undecided, both babies are strong and healthy. Baby Boy weighs just over 8 pounds and is 22 inches long, while Baby Girl is 7 pounds and just under 20 inches. Mom and babies are all doing well.
