Hammon played a key role in the Liberty claiming three of its four games in a six-day road trip. On July 19, she rattled off 18 points, three assists and three steals in an 87-78 loss in Seattle. Hammon followed that up on July 21 by leading all scorers with 21 points to go along with five assists in an 80-70 win in Phoenix. The very next night, Hammon put up 15 points and four assists in a 73-63 victory in Sacramento. Hammon finished up the week last night by netting 13 points and three assists in a 59-47 win in Minnesota.
