2009 In Review: Loree Moore

How those summer months breeze by and another Liberty season is in the books again. As the weather transitions into fall and players begin to part ways en route to off-season endeavors, NYLiberty.com is handing in its season homework – a final report, which takes a look back at how each member of the team faired in the franchise's 13th summer. Today’s chapter of the report looks at guard Loree Moore.

THE SKINNY: Moore appeared in all 34 games, with 32 starts. She posted in double figures six times (three more than 2008) and collected five or more rebounds in nine contests (one less than 2008). Moore was the Liberty's leader in assists a team-high 20 times (four more than last season), and led the squad in boards five times (one more than last season). She finished the summer ranked amongst the WNBA's top 10 assists and steals leaders.

ON THE RISE: With her 6.3 points per outing, Moore improved that stat line from 2008 (5.3). She also saw an improvement in steals per game over last summer.

BREAKOUT GAME: In the final leg of the season, Moore averaged 2.4 steals per game in a 10-game span, grabbing a career-high six in the Liberty's overtime game in Motown on September 10th.
