On Monday, July 10, the Liberty’s own Loree Moore and Ashley Battle helped unveil the WNBA Cares “Learn and Play” Center. The Center, renovated by a cast of Liberty players just two weeks earlier, was a part of the WNBA All-Star Legacy Project.

The Liberty players joined General Manager Blazejowski and several WNBA All-Stars, legends and executives to dedicate the new WNBA Cares “Play and Learn Center” at Life Shelter in Chinatown. WNBA President Donna Orender, league legend Jennifer Azzi, and several 2006 All-Stars including Diana Taurasi, Katie Smith, and Rutgers alum Cappie Pondexter attended the unveiling of the refurbished facility.
