The Lynx opened their preseason Saturday with a 74-57 victory over the Mystics. Maya Moore, MVP from their 2011 title, added 10 points and six steals to Monica Wright's team-high 16 points. Pondexter Shines in Home Debut

Cappie Pondexter (14 points, six rebounds) led the New York Liberty to a win in their first home preseason game 78-67 over the visiting Connecticut Sun. Essence Carson added 12 points and six rebounds for the Liberty. The Sun were led by Ashley Walker's 12 points and Tina Charles added eight points and five boards. Cambage Returns to Tulsa

Delle Donne Scores 17 In Debut

Elena Delle Donne scored a game-high 17 points in her preseason debut, helping her Chicago Sky over the New York Liberty 85-67. In other action, the Mystics and rookie Emma Meeseman defeated Brazil 71-56 and the Silver Stars topped the Fever 64-58.
