WASHINGTON, July 27 (AP) -- Asjha Jones scored 27 points to lead the Connecticut Sun to an 82-60 victory over the Washington Mystics on Sunday.

Jones, who began her WNBA career six years ago in Washington, made 10 of 16 shots and 7 of 8 free throws to help Connecticut win its third straight.

Taj McWilliams-Franklin led Washington with 11 points and six rebounds. Reserve forward Crystal Langhorne added 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting.

The Mystics traded Jones after the 2003 season for a first-round pick in the 2004 WNBA draft in a three-team deal that included the Phoenix Mercury.

The Mystics lost for the second time in four games since interim coach Jessie Kenlaw replaced Tree Rollins, who was fired on July 19 the day after a 99-62 home loss to Detroit.
