CHICAGO, June 12 (AP) -- Lauren Jackson scored 19 points to lead the Seattle Storm to an 81-69 victory over the Chicago Sky on Tuesday night.
Seattle (4-3), which won for second time in five games, had five players scoring in double figures - including a season-high 17 from rookie Katie Gearlds.
Sue Bird had 13 points and 11 assists, Janell Burse had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Iziane Castro Marques added 10 points in the Storm's first road win of the season.
Candice Dupree scored 18 points for the Sky (4-5), who had won three of their previous four games. Armintie Price had 17 points and 13 rebounds, and Chasity Melvin added 11 points for Chicago.
Seattle started a 20-6 run in the third period that put it up 65-50 with 8:38 left in the fourth. The Storm took their biggest lead of the night at 75-54 on a jumper by Betty Lennox with 5:21 remaining.
The Sky used a 19-2 run to take a 12-point lead with 3:11 left in the first quarter.
The Storm scored nine straight points to pull to 26-25 on a jumper by Burse with 4:08 remaining in the second quarter. Castro Marques finished the half with consecutive 3s to cut Chicago's lead to 35-33 at the break.
