Shameka Christon and Cathrine Kraayeveld scored 22 points apiece as the Liberty pulled away for a 93-81 victory over the Washington Mystics in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Christon made 4-of-7 3-pointers and Kraayeveld connected on 3-of-4 shots from the arc for New York (11-23), which made a franchise-record 13 3-pointers and tied a season high for points.
Iciss Tillis, Loree Moore and Becky Hammon added two 3-pointers apiece as the Liberty finished 13-of-26 from the arc.
New York will miss the postseason for the second time in four years, but the Liberty did finish strong, closing the game on an 18-8 run. Included in that burst was a 15-2 surge over nearly five minutes that turned a two-point lead into a 90-75 cushion.
Alana Beard scored 29 points and DeLisha Milton-Jones contributed 15 for the Mystics (18-16), who already were locked into the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. They will face the top-seeded Connecticut Sun in the first round.
Hammon finished with 21 points for New York, which overcame a 10-point deficit in the first half.
