Comets-Lynx: Play |
Entering with eight losses in their previous 10 road games, the Comets broke back into the win column thanks to Snow, who dominated on both ends of the floor.
A fifth-year center, Snow owned the paint by grabbing nine offensive rebounds. She made 8-of-20 shots and 5-of-7 free throws in her best all-around game of the season. Her 23 rebounds were the second most in league history and a Comets franchise record.
Despite Snow's huge effort, the Comets had to battle back from a 52-47 deficit after three quarters. Snow scored 10 points in the fourth, then added a basket in the extra session.
Nicole Ohlde - who battled Snow in the paint - had 25 points and 10 rebounds to pace Minnesota (9-21), which lost its sixth straight game.
Next Games: The Comets host the Sun, while the Lynx host the Silver Stars; both on Sunday.
