Kraayeveld scored a career-best 22 points and added 10 rebounds to help the New York Liberty snap a franchise-record 11-game losing streak with a 79-72 victory over the Chicago Sky.

After three quarters, New York held a 54-53 lead, and Kraayeveld scored seven of the club's first nine points to start the final period. A layup by Barbara Farris put the Liberty in front for good at 65-63 with 6:13 to go.
Following four minutes of scoreless basketball, the teams traded baskets down the stretch until New York boosted its lead to 76-70 on a 3-pointer by Shameka Christon with 45 seconds remaining.
Rookie Candice Dupree matched a season high with 22 points for the Sky, who hit just 3-of-18 from the arc en route to their seventh straight setback.
Next Games: The Sky face the Mystics in the nation's capital on Thursday, while the Liberty visit the Charlotte Sting on Saturday.
