Playing the second contest of an eight-game road trip, the Sparks (20-6) raised their road mark to 7-4 by rebounding from a season low in points in Friday's 73-59 loss to the Detroit Shock.

A two-time league MVP, Leslie made 10-of-17 shots from the floor on Saturday and scored 17 of her points in the second half.

After Tamika Catchings hit a layup to give the Fever a 64-63 lead with 2:18 remaining, Leslie made consecutive baskets to put the Sparks on top with 1:28 left.

Tamika Whitmore drew Indiana closer with a layup with 36 seconds to go before Leslie buried a jumper five seconds later for a 69-66 edge.

After Whitmore made a pair of free throws for the Fever with 25 seconds left, Chamique Holdsclaw and Johnson sealed the win by making 4-of-4 free throws.

Catchings scored 27 points and Tully Bevilaqua added 14 for the Fever, who lost for just the second time in 11 home games this season.

Next Games: The Sparks are in Houston and the Fever host the Monarchs; both games on Tuesday.
