UNCASVILLE, Conn., July 20 (Ticker) -- Katie Douglas scored 19 points to lead a balanced attack as the Connecticut Sun rolled to their fifth win in six games, an 86-72 victory over the expansion Chicago Sky.

Taj McWilliams-Franklin scored 17 points, and Asjha Jones added 15 off the bench for the Sun, who never trailed, shot 52 percent (33-of-63) from the field and had a season-high 25 assists.

A 3-pointer by Douglas snapped a 4-4 tie, gave Connecticut the lead for good and started a 13-4 surge. The Sun held a 28-18 lead after one quarter and extended to 48-32 at halftime as McWilliams-Franklin scored nine points in the second period.

The Sky (3-19) got no closer than 13 points in the second half and absorbed their fifth straight loss.

Margo Dydek had 12 points and four blocks for the Sun (16-6), who led by as many as 26 points.

Jia Perkins scored 21 points for the Sky, who shot less than 40 percent (29-of-73).
