MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Amber Jacobs' perfect touch gave the Minnesota Lynx a win in the meeting of last-place teams.

Jacobs scored a career-high 24 points and star rookie Seimone Augustus and Svetlana Abrosimova added 18 apiece as the Lynx recorded a 90-82 victory over the expansion Chicago Sky.

The last-place team in the Western Conference, Minnesota (8-13) finished a five-game homestand at 3-2 after shooting 51 percent (34-of-67).

Jacobs figured highly in that stellar shooting performance by making all seven of her shots from the field, including three 3-pointers. She also converted all seven free throws.

A 3-point play by Jacobs with 7:54 remaining in the third quarter started the decisive run, as the Lynx outscored the Sky, 11-2, over the next three minutes to pull ahead, 64-53.

After a 3-pointer from Chicago's Coretta Brown, Jacobs responded with a shot from the arc, Vanessa Hayden had a layup, Augustus split two free throws and Abrosimova sank a 3-pointer to make it 73-56 with two minutes remaining.

The league's worst team at 3-18, the Sky got no closer than six points thereafter.

Rookie Candice Dupree scored 14 points and Stacey Dales added 13 for Chicago, who lost for the fourth straight time despite collecting 16 steals.
