AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 16 (Ticker) -- Not even a week-long layoff could stop the winning ways of the Detroit Shock.

Swin Cash scored four of her 13 points during an early fourth-quarter spurt as the Shock extended their winning streak to three games with a 77-67 victory over the San Antonio Silver Stars.

With the game tied at 55-55 after three quarters, Cash made a layup and a short hook shot, and assisted on three other baskets as the Shock opened the fourth with a 13-4 run. Cash scored her second basket of the spurt with 5:37 remaining and set up All-Star Katie Smith for a 3-pointer 19 seconds later for a 68-59 edge.

The Silver Stars, who lost for the third straight time, got no closer than eight points thereafter.

Cheryl Ford, who had 13 points in the Eastern Conference's surprising first win in Wednesday's All-Star Game, scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. Fellow All-Star Deanna Nolan bounced back from an ankle injury in the second quarter to score 16 points.

Smith hit three 3-pointers en route to a 15-point performance for Detroit, which overcame 37 percent (28-for-75) shooting by holding a 51-32 advantage on the boards.

Agnieszka Bibrzycka scored 14 points despite 4-of-13 shooting and Katie Feenstra, who was born in nearby Grand Rapids, added 13 off the bench.
