SAN ANTONIO, July 7 (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Silver Stars knew that if they jumped on the Houston Comets early, there would be no comeback.

Agnieszka Bibrzycka scored 17 points and rookie Sophia Young added 16 as the Silver Stars got off to a fast start en route to a 94-75 victory over the Comets that clinched the season series.

Bibrzycka made 4-of-5 3-pointers and Young collected eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals for San Antonio, which has taken all three meetings with Houston this year. Overall, San Antonio has won a season-high four straight games following a four-game slide.

The Silver Stars took note of the Comets' 74-62 los to Los Angeles on Wednesday in which Houston fell behind, 15-0, to start the contest. San Antonio raced out to an 18-3 lead in the first five minutes.

Holding a 57-46 lead with 3:35 remaining in the third period, the Stars put the game out of reach by closing the quarter with a 13-5 run.

San Antonio continued its hot shooting from long distance, making 9-of-17 from the arc to follow a 10-of-17 performance Monday.

Michelle Snow scored 19 points for the Comets.
