Holdsclaw collected a season-high 23 points and nine rebounds off the bench and Mwadi Mabika added 19 points as the Sparks held on for a 80-75 triumph over the Washington Mystics.

On Saturday, Teasley had 11 points, five steals and four rebounds.
Willis and Mabika hit consecutive 3-pointers in the final seconds of the third quarter to help the Sparks take a 62-53 advantage.
Holdsclaw scored on a fastbreak layup and then followed with a fadeaway jumper from the baseline with 3:42 remaining in the fourth period, giving Los Angeles a 75-62 edge.
Laurie Koehn's shot from the arc capped 13-2 surge, pulling the Mystics with 77-75 with 10 seconds left. But the Sparks were able to seal things at the line.
Superstar Lisa Leslie and Johnson scored 10 points apiece for the Sparks, who shot 37 percent (23-of-62) from the field.
Nakia Sanford registered 16 points and nine rebounds and Chasity Melvin contributed 15 and nine for Washington, which shot 43 percent (28-of-64).
