SAN ANTONIO, June 27 (Ticker) -- Cheryl Ford was not about to let the Detroit Shock's winning streak end.

Ford collected 22 points and 19 rebounds as the Shock extended their winning streak to six games with a 63-59 triumph over the San Antonio Silver Stars.

Swin Cash added 13 points and Plenette Pierson 10 for the Shock, whose winning streak is their longest since an eight-game run during their championship season in 2003.

Ford was a major reason the Shock continued their winning ways. The fourth-year forward made 9-of-16 shots and helped Detroit to a 43-34 advantage on the boards.

Deanna Nolan, who scored 20 points in the second half of Sunday's win over Charlotte, made a clutch play in this one, converting a three-point play with 5.1 seconds left to give Detroit the final margin.

Sophia Young scored 16 points and Agnieszka Bibrzycka added 15 for San Antonio, which has lost a season-high four straight games.
