McWilliams-Franklin scored 13 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter to lift the Connecticut Sun to an 84-79 victory over the Chicago Sky, whose losing streak reached 12 straight games.

Lindsay Whalen hit just her second 3-pointer of the season at the 5:18 mark to give Connecticut its first lead since the opening quarter, 70-68. Chicago battled back and took a 79-78 lead with 43.5 seconds left on Amanda Lassiter's 3-pointer.
However, McWilliams-Franklin answered with a layup off a brilliant feed from Whalen that gave the Sun the lead for good with 24.6 seconds remaining.
Nykesha Sales scored 23 points and Katie Douglas added 12 and six rebounds for Connecticut, which won its third straight game.
Jia Perkins scored 13 points and rookie Candice Dupree added 12 for Chicago, which has not won since opening the season with an 83-82 triumph at Charlotte. The Sky fell to 0-7 at home.
Next Games: The Sun head to Washington to face the Mystics and the Sky visit the Phoenix Mercury, both on Sunday.
