The No. 1 overall pick in 2001, Jackson managed just eight points in Wednesday's win at Minnesota. On Thursday, the 6-5 All-Star made 9-of-15 shots, grabbed 10 rebounds and also had six blocks.

Stacey Lovelace's 3-pointer pulled the Sky within 43-40 with 3:47 remaining in the third quarter. But the Storm used a 10-2 surge to close the quarter to take control.

Jackson hit a shot from behind the arc and Betty Lennox scored on a driving layup to help the Storm rebuild the lead to double digits with under three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

All-Star Sue Bird scored 12 points and Lennox and Tiffani Johnson added 10 each for Seattle, which shot 47 percent (28-of-59) from the field.

Lovelace scored 15 points off the bench and rookie Candice Dupree had 12 and a career-high 12 rebounds for the Sky, who shot 41 percent (24-of-58).

The expansion Sky have not won since an 83-82 victory at Charlotte in their season opener.
