NEW YORK, June 13 (Ticker) -- Tamika Catchings wanted to show that her selection to the WNBA All-Decade team was no mistake.

Catchings hit a 15-foot jumper in the closing seconds of overtime and finished with a season-high 30 points as the Indiana Fever posted an 80-78 victory over the New York Liberty.

Tully Bevilaqua added seven of her 13 points in overtime and Tamika Whitmore and Charlotte Smith contributed 10 apiece for Indiana, which trailed by as many as 14 points in the first half.

Selected to the league's All-Decade team earlier Tuesday, Catchings made 10-of-19 shots in just over 40 minutes.

The Liberty built a five-point lead in overtime on Shameka Christon's 3-pointer with 1:52 remaining. But the Fever outscored the Liberty, 10-3, over the final 1:32.

Becky Hammon scored 17 points and Kelly Schumacher added a season-high 16 against her former team for New York, which fell to 2-7 on the season.
