WASHINGTON, June 6 (Ticker) -- The Washington Mystics still are unbeatable at home.

Alana Beard scored 22 points and Nikki Teasley added 11 assists as the Mystics rolled to their third straight win, a 93-79 rout of the Houston Comets.

Led by Beard and Teasley, the Mystics improved to 4-0 at the Verizon Center this season. Washington has won its four home games by an average of 22 points.

Chasity Melvin added 14 points for the Mystics, who had four players in double figures and shot 56 percent (34-of-61) from the field.

The Mystics, who led virtually the entire way, scored 18 of their 31 first-quarter points in the paint. Beard scored 11 points in the period.

After the Comets closed to 55-50, the Mystics used a 21-12 surge to pull away.

Roneeka Hodges, who started in place of reigning league MVP Sheryl Swoopes, scored a career-high 21 points for Houston, which had a five-game winning streak snapped.

Swoopes suffered back spasms in Sunday's win over Minnesota and did not travel with the team to the nation's capital.

Tina Thompson added 19 points and Dominique Canty contributed 17 for Houston, which shot 52 percent (30-for-56) from the field.
