Sky-Comets: Play |
Seattle, Sacramento and Indiana all were limited offensively and Chicago was added to the list Friday. The Sky tallied just nine points in the opening period and faced a 38-24 halftime deficit, largely due to 28 percent (9-of-32) shooting.
The Comets led by as many as 21 points in the second half and never were threatened, even though the Sky put together a late surge to crawl within single digits with just over a minute remaining.
Amanda Lassiter scored 14 points and Deanna Jackson added 13 for Chicago (1-4), which shot just 34 percent (23-of-67) en route to its fourth straight loss.
