SAN ANTONIO, May 23 (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Silver Stars had no answers for All-Star Tamika Catchings.

Catchings had 23 points and nine rebounds and Tamika Whitmore scored 16 points as the Indiana Fever remained unbeaten with a 62-53 victory over the Silver Stars.

Off to a 2-0 start, the Fever pulled away in the second quarter as they held San Antonio to just five points and took a 26-17 advantage into the looker room.

Catchings' layup with 13 seconds left in the third period extended the lead to 44-31. Indiana cruised thereafter.

Anna DeForge scored nine points and Ebony Hoffman grabbed nine rebounds for the Fever, who shot 39 percent (23-of-59) and forced 21 turnovers.

Rookie forward Sophia Young collected 12 points, 10 rebounds and two steals for San Antonio, which shot 34 percent (21-of-61).
