Fever seek third straight win over Silver Stars
Indiana (1-0) at San Antonio (1-0) 8:00 pm EDT
SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- Tamika Catchings and the Indiana Fever
go for their third consecutive win over the San Antonio Silver
Stars on Tuesday.
The Fever took both meetings against the Silver Stars during
the 2005 season.
Indiana is coming off a 67-60 victory over Detroit on Saturday.
Catchings scored 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Anna
DeForge added 14 and Ebony Hoffman finished with 13 and 13
boards.
San Antonio won its opener as well - a 79-63 rout of Houston
on Sunday. The Silver Stars earned one of their lone two road
victories there last year. Vickie Johnson netted 18 points and
Shana Zolman added 15.
Fellow rookie Sophia Young collected 13 points and 12 rebounds
for San Antonio, which held a 40-24 rebounding advantage.
