SEATTLE, Aug. 18 (Ticker) --Lauren Jackson helped Anne Donovan to a milestone victory and drew the Seattle Storm within one win of a playoff spot.

Jackson scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Iziane Castro Marques added 16 points as the Storm recorded a 76-60 triumph over the Minnesota Lynx.

The win was the 100th in the career of Donovan, who became the fourth coach in WNBA history to reach the plateau.

The Storm virtually assured that Donovan would become the first female coach in league history with 100 victories with a 15-6 run to open the second half. Jackson had five points in the spurt, including a baseline jumper to cap the run at 16:03 and give Seattle a 43-27 lead.

Marques had four points in the decisive burst and also drilled a 3-pointer with 12:55 remaining to give the Storm their biggest lead, 56-36.

Sue Bird added nine points and nine assists for Seattle (17-13), which needs one more win to clinch a playoff spot in the tightly packed Western Conference.

Nicole Ohlde led the Lynx with 17 points and Tamika Williams added eight with a career-high 14 rebounds for Minnesota (14-17), which shot just 35 percent (24-of-68) from the field, including 2-of-14 from the arc.
