Chandi Jones scored 17 points and Nicole Ohlde added 16 as the Lynx won for just the second time in eight games, posting a 73-62 victory over the Houston Comets.

Minnesota used a 9-0 run to open the second to take a 47-34 lead with 16:39 remaining. However, the Comets chipped away and took a 57-56 lead with 6:28 left on two free throws by Sheryl Swoopes.
But 26 seconds later, Svetlana Abrosimova hit a jumper to give the Lynx the lead for good.
Houston pulled with 64-62 on a layup by Swoopes with 3:23 left but Minnesota scored the final nine points. Abrosimova scored five of her 14 points in the game-ending surge.
Swoopes scored 21 points and Michelle Snow added 17 for Houston (16-14).
