Los Angeles' leading scorer and rebounder, Holdsclaw was sidelined with a sore left hamstring and is listed as day-to-day.

Seattle was clinging to a 47-43 lead with 14:15 left before Jackson hit a 3-pointer to ignite a 13-2 run, giving the Storm a 60-45 edge three minutes later.

The Sparks drew within 67-61 on a pair of free throws by Christi Thomas, but Sue Bird broke the Los Angeles press and found Betty Lennox for a 3-pointer with 4:24 on the clock to end the run.

Lisa Leslie had 19 points and eight rebounds for Los Angeles, which holds a 15-7 advantage in the all-time series.

Lennox scored 16 points and Bird contributed 14 and eight assists for the defending champion Storm, who won for just the third time in nine games.
