INDIANAPOLIS, July 13 (Ticker) -- Tamika Catchings' big second half led the Indiana Fever to a rare win against the Connecticut Sun.

Catchings scored 12 of her 18 points and recorded five steals in the second half as the Fever ended a six-game losing streak against the Sun with a 64-53 triumph.

Trailing by nine points at halftime, Indiana (9-6) rallied to tie it at 45-45 with 8:27 remaining. From there, Catchings scored eight points - all on free throws - as the Fever closed on a 19-8 run for their first victory against the Sun since a double-overtime 94-90 triumph on June 26, 2003.

Catchings grabbed nine rebounds and eight steals for Indiana, which set a franchise record with 13 steals in the second half.

Kelly Miller scored 11 of her 15 points after halftime and Deanna Jackson scored eight of her 11 during Indiana's closing run.

Nykesha Sales scored 15 points and Taj McWilliams-Franklin added 14 for the Sun (12-4), who lost their second in a row following a four-game winning streak.
