UNCASVILLE, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Before embarking on a big
road swing, the Connecticut Sun will face off with the Minnesota
Lynx on Thursday in an interconference clash.
Owners of the best record in the league at 11-2, the Sun will
play their next two games away from home after this one.
Connecticut is the only unbeaten home team remaining in the
WNBA.
The Sun are coming off a 70-66 home win over the Western
Conference-leading Sacramento Monarchs on Tuesday. Nykesha
Sales scored 19 points and became the ninth player in league
history to reach 3,000 career points.
Minnesota has won two straight games, including a 63-53 home win
over San Antonio on Tuesday. Despite wins in three of their
last four games, the Lynx have struggled away from home, losing
three consecutive contests en route to a 2-5 road mark.
The Lynx have won four of the last five meetings against the
Sun, including both contests last year.
