UNCASVILLE, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Before embarking on a big road swing, the Connecticut Sun will face off with the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday in an interconference clash.

Owners of the best record in the league at 11-2, the Sun will play their next two games away from home after this one. Connecticut is the only unbeaten home team remaining in the WNBA.

The Sun are coming off a 70-66 home win over the Western Conference-leading Sacramento Monarchs on Tuesday. Nykesha Sales scored 19 points and became the ninth player in league history to reach 3,000 career points.

Minnesota has won two straight games, including a 63-53 home win over San Antonio on Tuesday. Despite wins in three of their last four games, the Lynx have struggled away from home, losing three consecutive contests en route to a 2-5 road mark.

The Lynx have won four of the last five meetings against the Sun, including both contests last year.
