CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The New York Liberty look
for their fourth consecutive win when they visit the struggling
Charlotte Sting on Saturday.
After losing three of their first four games, the Liberty have
won four of five and are one game over .500 for the first time
this season.
Ann Wauters scored 20 points and Becky Hammon added 17 to lead
New York to its largest victory margin of the season, a 77-59
win over San Antonio last Tuesday.
Charlotte, which hopes to snap a six-game losing streak, is in
last place in the Eastern Conference.
Allison Feaster scored 11 points and Sheri Sam added 10 for the
Sting in a 64-49 defeat to San Antonio on Wednesday. Charlotte
shot 38 percent (22-of-58) and committed 19 turnovers in
recording its second-lowest point total of the season.
New York won all four meetings with Charlotte last season and
leads the series, 17-12.
