PHOENIX (Ticker) -- The struggling Phoenix Mercury return home on Saturday to face the first-place Connecticut Sun.

Phoenix lost all three games on its road trip by an average of 16 points. The Mercury have dropped seven of their last nine games, with six of those losses coming by double-digits.

In their last game, the Mercury received 14 points and five assists from Diana Taurasi, but still dropped a 75-59 decision to Minnesota.

Connecticut is coming off Friday's 61-50 victory over Sacramento. Taj McWilliams-Franklin scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Nykesha Sales added 14 points for the Sun, who won for the ninth time in 10 games.

The Sun posted an 85-68 triumph over the Mercury on May 28 in the only previous meeting. McWilliams-Franklin scored 25 points and Sales added 21 for Connecticut, which 53 percent (31-of-59) from the floor.
