With the Sparks holding a 44-40 lead with 15½ minutes left in the game, Holdsclaw scored nine points and Leslie eight during a 23-11 run that gave the Sparks a 67-51 lead with four minutes remaining.
Holdsclaw shot 6-of-10 from the floor, Leslie added seven blocks and Doneeka Hodges scored all eight of her points off the bench in the first half for Los Angeles, which shot 49 percent (26-of-53) and held the Lynx to 31 percent (18-of-57).
Nicole Ohlde was the only player in double figures for Minnesota, scoring 10 points but shooting just 4-of-14 from the floor.
