INDIANAPOLIS, June 10 (Ticker) -- When it came down to crunch time, Kelly Miller made the go-ahead basket look easy.

Miller converted three-point play with nine-tenths of a second remaining to give the Indiana Fever their fourth consecutive home win, a 62-59 victory over the New York Liberty.

Following a timeout in a tie game, Miller drove to the basket and scored while drawing a foul against Shameka Christon. The co-winner of last season's WNBA Most Improved Player Award, calmly sank the free throw.

Christon had a chance for redemption on the final possession for the Liberty but her attempt at the tying 3-pointer grazed the rim from the right wing.

The Liberty (2-4) rallied from a six-point deficit to tie the game with 2:13 to play. Ann Wauters made a layup with 1:49 remaining to cut the deficit to 59-55. Becky Hammon made two free throws with 1:14 left before sinking a layup with 30 seconds to go.

Kelly Schumacher made 6-of-8 shots and scored 12 points in a balanced scoring attack for the Fever. Indiana, which led by 14 points in the first half, has won eight of the last 10 meetings against New York.

Wauters scored a season-high 19 points and Vickie Johnson added 12 for the Liberty, who have lost their last six games at Indiana.
