SAN ANTONIO, June 2 (Ticker) -- Rookie Katie Feenstra's second-half burst helped the San Antonio Silver Stars finally put a crooked number in the win column.

Feenstra scored 11 of her season-high 16 points in the second half as the Silver Stars recorded their first win of the season, a 69-62 victory over the Charlotte Sting.

San Antonio (1-5), which became the last team in the league to post a win, opened the second half with a 12-2 to turn a seven-point halftime deficit into a 35-32 advantage with 15 1/2 minutes left.

The eighth selection in the draft, Feenstra scored three points during the burst and added five rebounds and three blocks in the contest. Marie Ferdinand also collected 16 points and five rebounds.

Wendy Palmer, who scored the go-ahead layup with 16:45 to go, added 11 points, five rebounds and six assists off the bench.

Tammy Sutton-Brown matched a season best with 15 points for the Sting (1-4), who have the worst record in the Eastern Conference.
