MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 3 (Ticker) -- Kelly Schumacher scored 13 points and Tamika Catchings recorded her fifth double-double of the season as the Indiana Fever cruised to a 69-61 victory over the Minnesota Lynx.

Schumacher, who made her first start of the season Wednesday, scored in double figures for the second straight game. She also had three blocks.

Indiana never trailed after Catchings' layup made it 4-2 with 17:05 remaining in the first half. Catchings finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Fever, who have won two straight after a six-game losing streak.

Indiana held the Lynx to 33 percent (11-for-33) shooting to take a 33-24 lead at the half. The Fever led by as many as 16 points in the second half

Nicole Ohlde's layup with 2:58 left pulled Minnesota within 61-56. But Kelly Miller hit 3-of-4 free throws in the next 90 seconds to end the comeback.

Ohlde scored 13 points for the Lynx, who lost for just the third time in 12 games.
