NEW YORK, July 31 (Ticker) -- Becky Hammon and the New York Liberty have taken a liking to Radio City Music Hall.

Hammon scored 24 points to lead the Liberty to an 80-66 triumph over the Connecticut Sun in both teams' final contest before the monthlong Olympic break.

Crystal Robinson added 17 points -- 12 in the second half -- for the Liberty, who improved to 2-0 at Radio City Music Hall. New York's regular arena, Madison Square Garden, is being prepared for the Republican National Convention.

Hammon scored five points during a 10-0 burst bridging the halves that gave New York the lead for good. The Liberty led by as many as 15 points in the second half en route to their fifth victory in six games.

Nykesha Sales scored 18 points but made only 6-of-16 shots for the Sun, who have lost six of their last eight contests. Katie Douglas was limited to seven points on 3-of-13 shooting.
