The 30-year-old Smith made 6-of-9 3-pointers and moved past Andrea Stinson for third place on the WNBA all-time scoring list with 3,280 points.
The Lynx never trailed, opening a 23-13 lead with nine minutes left in the first half. They widened a 33-25 halftime advantage to 56-38 on a layup by rookie Nicole Ohlde with 9:18 remaining.
