PHOENIX, July 18 (Ticker) -- Katie Smith scored six of her 33 points in
the final minute as the Minnesota Lynx extended their winning
streak to five games with a 63-60 victory over the Phoenix
Mercury.

Smith scored 19 points in the second half, made 11-of-18 shots
from the field and converted 7-of-8 free throws. She fell one
point shy of matching her season high, set on July 11 against
Sacramento.

the Lynx, who picked up their latest win despite shooting just
39 percent (21-of-54).
