Jackson recorded her first points of the second half on a pair of free throws to supply Seattle with a 58-53 lead with 86 seconds remaining. After Ticha Penicheiro scored a layup to cut the deficit for Sacramento to 60-58 with 29 seconds left, the 6-5, 196-pound forward converted two more free throws five seconds later.
Sue Bird scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half for Seattle, which made six more free throws (21) than the Monarchs attempted in their second straight victory.
Ruthie Bolton, who converted 3-of-6 attempts from 3-point range, had 14 points and Kara Lawson added 10 for Sacramento, which had a three-game home win streak snapped, falling to 8-11 overall.
