Robinson missed six games with a broken finger on her right hand. But she made 6-of-10 shots in 27 minutes to help the Liberty avenge a 72-60 road loss on June 24.

New York led throughout, but a basket by Anna DeForge got the Mercury within 48-46 with just over 12 minutes remaining. But Robinson scored all seven points as the Liberty answered with a 7-1 burst.

Vickie Johnson paced the Liberty with 17 points and Elena Baranova chipped in 12 and 10 rebounds.

DeForge led all scorers with a career-high 31 points for Phoenix, which has lost four straight. In her first professional game at Madison Square Garden, Mercury rookie Diana Taurasi made just 4-of-16 shots and scored 14 points.
