MINNEAPOLIS, June 17 (Ticker) -- Yolanda Griffith scored 13 points to lead five players in double figures as the Sacramento Monarchs snapped a three-game losing streak with a 60-50 victory over the Minnesota Lynx.

Minnesota pulled with 49-47 with 1:40 to play, but Sacramento closed with an 11-3 run.

Ticha Penicheiro added 10 points and seven assists, setting up a layup by Lady Grooms with 12:43 remaining in the first half to surpass Teresa Weatherspoon as the WNBA's all-time assists leader.

Hamchetou Maiga scored 12 points, Kara Lawson added 11 and Tangela Smith had 10 for Sacramento, which avenged a 69-61 loss on May 22.

Katie Smith led the Lynx with 16 points but shot just 5-of-16 from the field. Nicole Ohlde added 13 points.
